Recovering in your application fee from a loan company who is merely not bothering to return your money should be a fairly straightforward process.

The court service Internet system -- MoneyClaim should be perfectly suited for this. However you will need a credit card in order to pay for the claim.

If you do not have a credit card then you will have to do complete a form N1 which you can download from the court service website. You will have to take this to the County Court office with the appropriate fee. Assuming that you win your claim you will get your court fee back. If you are on benefits then you are likely to be exempt from paying court fees. Visit your local County Court for more information about this.
